Need a place to stay while hunting, hiking, fishing, 4-wheeling, snomobiling, etc.? We've have the perfect cabin for you! This cabin sleeps 6, with 1 bedroom downstairs, and 2 loft bedrooms upstairs. Located right off of the American River, and close to the Nez Perce National Forest, where fishing and hunting are easily accessible. It's just 4 miles to town--far enough away from noise, yet close enough if needed. Also available is a fire pit for s'mores, and a barbecue equipped with propane for steaks and burgers. Directions from Grangeville to Elk City:

Head east on E Main Street toward N Meadow Street.
Once you get towards the end of town, turn right at Mt Idaho Grade Rd.
Continue on this road until you get to the Drive-In Movie Theater, and stay to the left to stay on Mt Idaho Grade Rd.
This road continues down a windy hill. Once at the bottom, stay to the right which is now ID-14.
Continue on ID-14 until you see the Elk City/Red River sign, then go to the left. This will take you right into Elk City.

Directions to Cabin:

Once you have reached Elk City, continue on the main road, (Motherload Road), going up the hill, and take the first left onto American River Road.  Go past the VFW hall and stay to the left of the school.  Continue past the Forest Service, road will continue to wind, there will be a hairpin turn, stay to the right. Continue 2.3 miles until you reach the bridge, take a left and continue for 2.7 miles on American River Road. Cabin has a large green shop, and it's the last cabin before the road starts to narrow.
