Red River, Idaho

Once you get to the Red River Ranger Station, you can continue to Dixie or Red River Hot Springs. There are Areas along the road for viewing wild life in meadows along the Red River. The Red River Hot Springs is located another 11 miles from the Red River Ranger Station, however, it is currently not running or in business.

The Red River flows through a series of meadows that are designated wildlife viewing areas and game management property and then flows into the South Fork of the Clearwater. A very nice and scenic drive and great elk viewing in the spring.
